Based on the laboratory and bench tests of the Testing Office for Traffic Route Construction by the Technische Universität München (TUM), the Eisenbahn-Bundesamt EBA has officially granted approval for operational testing.
Our sleeper type P60 with cross-sectional dimensions W x H = 260 mm x 160 mm was tested. These can be used for mainline tracks with a maximum speed of up to 160 km/h and metro lines for maximum speeds of up to 100 km/h.
The P60 sleepers passed the following test series without damage or exceeding the limits:
– 3-point bending test before the fatigue test
– Fatigue test in the ballast box (5,000,000 load cycles)
– 3-point bending test after the fatigue test
– Cyclic temperature load (-20°C … +40°C)
We are now pleased to have received approval for our P60 sleepers in addition to the P30 composite sleepers!
